FAQS
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A SESSION OR NEED TO CANCEL?
No problem. We understand life happens. Just let your trainer know as soon as possible and together you will decide the next steps to take. If you booked a package, don’t worry, those sessions never expire.
CAN WE REBOOK LATER?
Absolutely! Clients who finish a program and graduate are more than welcome to book sessions for advanced training. Sessions can be scheduled later for refresher training sessions. These sessions are offered to graduate clients at a discounted price as well.
WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA?
We service the northwest area of Houston. We also offer board and train programs that clients who are further away can utilize.
WHAT IF I HAVE MULTIPLE DOGS AND ONE OR ALL NEED TRAINING?
No matter how many dogs you have in the household we will train with only one dog at a time. Giving each dog their own session allows them to truly learn. Once they understand the concepts we are teaching them, we will bring in all of the dogs and practice them together just as you would for your daily life.
WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
This all depends on what exactly you are looking for. If your dog is exhibiting reactivity, then the in-person private sessions are what you seek. If you just need help with a few basic commands then try out the virtual sessions. If you are unsure of which program is best for you and your dog, feel free to contact us with questions!
IS MY DOG TOO OLD FOR TRAINING?
The short answer - no. Your dog can always learn house manners and boundaries no matter their age. Now, as far as fancy tricks and flashy obedience, age might play a factor if your dog is struggling with arthritis, poor eyesight, hip dysplasia, etc.
WHAT BREEDS DO YOU ACCEPT?
All breeds are welcome in the P&C family! We believe that every dog should be able to have access to professional dog training no matter their breed.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO PET TRAINING?
We are balanced trainers that provide each dog we train with a customized program. We discuss what your end goals are first and from there we form a plan for training. After meeting your dog and getting a feel for their learning style, we adjust our approach as needed.
